European funds in Malopolska: 2018

The new annual edition of the report on the use of european funds in Malopolska is ready. The implementation of EU programs in 2018 in the region is running smoothly. The number of contracts and implemented projects is growing.

By the end of 2018, 359 calls for the Regional Operational Program of the Malopolska region for the years 2014-2020 were carried out, with 4885 applications submitted. 2701 contracts were signed.

The level of involvement of EU funds in the Regional Operational Program, calculated by the value of co-financing of signed contracts, amounted to 67.1% at the end of 2018, which gave the 6th place in Poland.

1512 beneficiaries that have their headquarters in Malopolska undertook to implement projects co-financed from EU funds within all operational programs.

At the end of 2018, the value of projects implemented in our region amounted to PLN 27.3 billion, with co-financing from the European Union in the amount of PLN 16.7 billion, which places the Małopolska region in 4th place in Poland.

In 2018, contracts were signed for the implementation of projects worth PLN 7.4 billion in Malopolska (EU: PLN 4.7 billion).

Malopolska took the 1st place in terms of the value of implemented projects within the Smart Growth OP, 2nd place within the Knowledge Education Development OP and within the regional operational programs, 7th place within the Infrastructure and Environment OP and within the Digital Poland OP.
