Observatory as an example of best practice

The publication presents solutions pertaining to the need for skills and qualifications in local and regional labour markets both in Poland and in Europe.
The authors of the publication particularly appreciated the contribution of the Observatory in two fields: research and analysis of the labour market and promotion of information concerning the diagnosis produced. Two research initiatives were cited, namely, the attempt to modify the methodology for determining deficit and surplus occupations, and the surveying of strategic industries in Małopolska. The Information Resources Library, which was turned last year into the Online Library of Małopolska Observatories, was considered another best practice.
